"The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist" is one of 56 Sherlock Holmes short stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes takes on a peculiar case involving Miss Violet Smith, who's life took an unuasual turn when two men arrived from South Africa declairing that they had known her recently deceaced uncle. The pair offer Violet a job as a live-in music teacher, but things go awry when they make unwanted advances on her, and she notices that she is aften followed by a strange man on a bicycle.
